On the approach to Pushkar Sarah asks me if I realise that Pushkar is a dry town. “Of course I know” I say, it’s full of camels isn’t it. “Yes but it’s also got no beer” she explains. WHAT? I say. It turns out there is beer but it’s more of a challenge to find. And not on any menu. But needless to say we are now aligned with the stars again and drinking out of enlarged coffee mugs.
