After Amritsar we took a flight to Delhi where we had a day and a bit to take in the capital before the final leg in Goa. There’s quite a few tourist opportunities in the capital so we had to choose and we opted for the Contemporary Art Museum of India for the start. It was a tuck tuck ride on a Saturday morning to get there but they must have seen us coming because the place was closed for a day. Ironically they still employed people in the ticket office to tell people it was closed but had failed to empower then with any particular reason for the closure. Luckily across the road was something that looked like a stately home which also masqueraded as a private art gallery and cafe so we were okay. Then onward to India Gate and a few other bits and pieces before we were off again.
