The long range taxi dropped us about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. This was related to the fact that the streets near the hotel were too narrow for full size cars. The driver wasn’t wrong. Those streets were strewn with cars that weren’t moving at all and with no room to manoeuvre. The walk to the hotel took us over a footbridge across part of the Pichola Lake. And soon we were at the swanky Lake Pichola Hotel (with lake view). A lovely place to spend 4 nights and a restaurant that sells meat and beer!
